Fair Fun

On October 27th, David took the kids and I out to lunch and then to the little fair that came to our town. The kids had a great time, of course. It makes me so happy to see such big smile on their little faces. I am so pleased with David. He is such a great dad!! No matter how much he has to work, he still makes sure that he takes time out to make his children happy! He is the best!!
That's all I have to say tonight! :)

Halloween 2012

This year I decided that I didn't want to spend money on costumes. I'm not very creative and don't have a sewing machine though, either. So I told the kids that we needed to pick stuff that we already have and figure out something that they could use as costumes.

Miss Breyonna has a fancy dress that she loves so, she decided to use it to be Princess Belle.
Little Ethan is really in to super heroes and luckily for him, he had a super hero cape and a shirt to use to be Superman

{This first half of pics are of the kids dressed up for the Ward Trunk or Treat the weekend before Halloween.}
The lovely Princess Belle!

 The dashingly handsome Superman!

Princess Belle had quite the bodyguards...Superman & Batman!!

The Trunk or Treating Loot. The kids sold most of it to their dad so that they could get money.Love my little money savers. :)
 The costume parade.

{Halloween Night Pics}
The kids were the same except, Breyonna wanted to be a spooky VAMPIRE Princess Belle this time {thanks to her dads idea :) } and, I decided to buy Ethan a different Superman shirt (not costume) to use for his costume that night.

David sticking his head where it doesn't belong!!! :)

We took the kids to this Hotel Transylvania movie a couple weeks ago but, it looked like a Halloween pic to post on here. :)
The kids visiting Grandpa Allen

The Loot!
Everyone kept telling Breyonna how beautiful yet spooky she was! It was exactly what she wanted to hear! haha!
Starting the Halloween fun at home with Daddy.
We got home from town and Uncle Andy showed up wanting in on the action so we let him take the kids trick or treating around our block.

This little blue headed beauty was wondering if the blue was going to come out of her hair. She hopped in the shower and told me to wish her luck... :)
This little guy was given the choice to sell his candy to his Daddy to not intake so much sugar and prevent cavities.... He happily took the TWENTY dollars for his Missionary Fund last night but, today he is hoping mommy will sneak him some candy! :)

A Little Taste of Fall

Well, I thought I was sure to be done making trips to Utah this year after Breyonna's birthday party up there in September. However, we managed to squeeze in one more final trip. I've been getting a bit tired of taking the long 8 hour trip alone so many times this year. Even with how good the kids are, the miles wear me down. So, i really thought we wouldn't return until next year.

My mother in law came to AZ two weekends ago for my nephews baptism. She was heading home alone the following Monday. So, I figured it would be a great way to make it up to play in the Fall weather and to visit family. I was also pleased because it just so happened to be the week of mine and my siblings 12th baptism anniversary and we have tried to keep the tradition of celebrating it together. So it was nice to be there for that.

Also, unknowingly, we were able to be in Utah when my brother got to find out that he was having two baby boys who will be joining his family by this coming February!! That is so exciting!!

I was a bit limited on where we could go and what we could do because I didn't have a car up there. However, we still managed to have some good fun.

Played at the AZ Cliff Dwellers.

We went to my a birthday party for my cousins son.

Played at the park.

Went with my sister and the kids to watch Hotel Transylvania.

Visited the St. George Temple Grounds.

Did a whole lot of playing in the leaves.

Loved spending time with my little nephew who is growing up so fast!!

My cute little grandparent!!

Visited family and went pumpkin picking at my grandparents home.

David came the following Friday. He and his boss happened to have some meetings in Las Vegas. So after their work was done there, his boss flew home to Phoenix and David drove the rest of the way to visit Utah and to take us back home to AZ.

We're fighting the battle against allergies and colds now. But, it was so wonderful to have a little taste of Fall this year.

The Big 5

Our baby doll turned FIVE yesterday!! Oh, where has time gone? I can't believe its been that long since I first held my baby girl in my arms for the first time. Yet, at the same time, it feels so recent that I was bringing her home from the hospital. She lit up my life and has kept me smiling every day since then. I am her biggest fan...well its a tie between Grandma Crawford (my mom) and I!!! ;)

This is our sweetie getting ready to have her breakfast...a Panera muffin. She was so excited to have daddy light a candle and sing to her before he had to leave to work.

Shorty after David left for work, I let Breyonna open a couple gifts from us and then let her open all of the gifts that her Missionary Grandparents sent to her. :) Then, I took her to Jambo, an indoor amusement park. That is where we spent most of the day. They had a blast! :)

After the park, we went home to prep for the dinner/pool party with the Allen Fam and our great friends, The Nortons.
Then to our home to sing and open gifts.
When everyone left the party, we had one little guest remain....my sweet little niece, Ariele...for a slumber party for Breyonna! She loved it. Ariele told me she wanted me to ask her mom if she could sleep over again tonight too! So I guess the girls had a great time together!!  It really makes me happy. All I wanted was for my little girl to have the very happiest day and to feel very loved and special on her birthday.
That bright pink throw blanket was a bday gift from me to Brey. It is so SOFT AND FLUFFY!! I had a hard time wrapping it for Breyonna! I wanted to keep it for myself. ;)
Great day, good times and precious memories....
