Only took 3 minutes for the kids to be this asleep after leaving the zoo. Brey even walked all day and was only held a tiny bit out of the 7 hours we were there because she refused to take her stroller. She was happy to have walked instead of stroll though.  :)

High Tide & Jelly Fish

This is the spot right in front of the beach house that we stayed at in Oceanside this year. The tide was kinda high and we heard there were a lot of Jelly Fish stings in the area but, that didnt stop us from having some fun in the ocean!

 Sand City...The water kept washing away Brey's sand castles so she got smart and started building on the rocks....guess she remember the song with the saying,  "The Wise Man Built his House Upon the Rocks and the house on the rocks stood still..." :)

 David and Ben were out on the boogie boards and ran into this big Jelly Fish. COOL!

Hello California

We left for our annual Beach Getaway to Cali on Saturday July 7th . We have been going on these full week vacations to Cali for 5 years now. We've gone alone once, a couple years with some of my family and now its been a couple years in a row with some of David's side of the fam. We always look forward to these vacations each year. 4 out of 5 x its been at the beginning of July that we've gone. The 7th is a fun day that I enjoy celebrating . David thinks Im a bit silly for doing so but, that is ok. I will never forget the day that the love of my life/best friend asked me to marry him and I said YES! :)    

 I love Mr. Allen. I love being Mrs. Allen. So why not celebrate?! This year we got to spend the day hanging at the beach. Loved it. It was a great beginning to the start of our week.

Mormon Battalion

David and I both agree that this is a neat little place to go to. We went there on Sunday for a little appropriate Sabbath fun. The tour was done in a fun way. I was worried that the kids were too little to enjoy this place but they managed through the tour really well. Following the tour, we went into the courtyard where the kids got to pan for "gold". They were even able to each keep a couple of the "gold" nuggets that they panned. :)
