Freestone

With TEN days of watching nieces and nephews while their parents were out of town, we just had to do something fun together....fReeStONe pARk! Feeding the ducks...
Can you say... All Aboard!?!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I love these kinds of moments when I can see by her grins that, Breyonna is having genuine fun! She was so thrilled to be able to ride all of the rides at this park because normally she does not quite measure up to the height requirements at carnivals and such. Eventhough I was responsible for 6 other kids, I am so glad that I got to have some special moments with my little girl. She's the BeSt!!
These two crack me up. My niece Ariele was so tired that she fell alseep on our last train ride so, I had to carry her to the suburban. And, my sweet pea was out like a light the moment I put her straps on. How precious....they played so hard they wore themselves OUT!

A day with my brother...a day with my family!

The weekend that Elder Stroud got back into town was crazy awesome!! We had so much fun spending time with family and partying at my parents home. But, Monday was by far the best night because we got to spend the entire day with Jesse and our immediate family.

The siblings went shooting in the morning with the big guns. Then we had a bbq at the house. In the evening I made my famous chicken enchiladas for Jesse. David made a fire. So we all gathered around the firepit for some marshmallow roastin' as we sang all kinds of songs with Jesse and my old guitar.
It was the perfect way to spend the day with JESSE!! So proud of him and all that he accomplished in the mission field. But, man does it feel so great to blog about a day with my brother!! AGAIN-FINALLY!! :)
Side Note: It was when she took off in the dark and started dancing and twirling forever and doing silly things that we decided Brey had too many marshmallows for one night and we finally cut off her supply! :)

Silly Little Monkeys

Monkey see, and monkey do...our little girl is no longer two!!(well almost.)
On September 11th, the lovely allen clan came over to celebrate Breys upcoming birthday with us.
First the kids went into the Transformation Station where they transformed into silly little MONKEYS....!
Then it was lunch time where we had yummy subway sandwiches and Jungle Juice.

After that, the little monkeys played games such as Pin the Tail on the Monkey, and Pick a Balloon...and were able to win prizes.....
And of course cousin Hayley made Brey sparkle with a make-up session for the bday girl.....
Bday gifts and party favors.....
Banana Splits and the Happy Birthday song.....
Goodbyes are not so bad when you have a bunch of new toys to play with. Including this pretty new dress Uncle Andy got....

Our Ethan Boy is already.... CRAWLING!!

From the time he was 3 weeks old, Ethan has never wanted to be laying still. So, he would start rolling over at 3 weeks, then on to rolling multiple times in a row by four weeks. By 2 Months he was already on his hands rocking back and forth. For the last 2 months he has made his way around the livingroom anyway that he can such as doing the Army Crawl. But this last week is when he started actually moving forward on his hands and knees more than a couple steps. We are so proud of our little Chango for accomplishing the CRAWL. Its so fun to watch him get up and go. Oh, the trouble he will soon be getting into...!!!

Bottoms Up....Little Girl Style!

One evening about a month ago, these little cousins had quite the casual little tea party in Breys room. They are so silly. I love these girls. It is great that eventhough Hayley is 7, and Arielle is 3 with Brey a couple months shy of 3, Hayley still finds ways to play with her little cousins and take such good care of them when playing. Hayley is a doll and brey loves her because she is so fun and is like a little mommy to her. And Arielle is adorable. Her and Brey are really starting to play more together as they are pretty close in age. I LOVE my nieces and I love these pics of them! Posted by Picasa

Our Independence...

Some friends of the family left for for a few weeks and has let us have full access to their pool. So, we got the whole AZ Allen Clan together for a little Pool Party to celebrate Our Independence Day...
Pool, Pizza & Family = A BLAST OF A TIME!
We had a great time together. Love times like these when we set aside our busy lives and come together to spend time with eachother.
I have a great LOVE for the USA! I am deeply grateful to the Lord for the blessing I have had of being able to be born and raised in a counrty that is full of promise and hope. A place that declares freedom! A good place to have a family. I am also so blessed that my family is here and that my children will be able to be raised here as well.
To be FREE means so much to me.... I am so grateful for the blessing of freedom so that I can enjoy my life and my family to the fullest!

Day 4:Point Loma Lighthouse

The crew decided to go to a nearby lighthouse called Point Loma Lighthouse. I had read about this place being haunted by the ghost of an old lighthouse guard. There are reports about visitors feeling cold spots on the way up the stairs.

The lighthouse is not in use anymore because it was too high so the fog often got in the way of ships being able to see its light. So they built a new lighthouse down the hill on the coast. So that is the new one in the pic with the palm trees in the collage.

Day 4: Goodbye House

Watching The Sun Set
Loved, Loved, Loved the Sunset Cliffs!! So Pretty. These pics are nothing compared to actually being there and getting splashed by the waves hitting up against the cliffs or looking at the sun set across the ocean! Not to mention romantic when you are with your lover! No wonder the cops always patrol the cliffs to bust the naughty ones. Saw that happen several times. :o

Day 2: All Kinds Of Stuff

Breyonna took over the bed upstairs at the condo. Guess she loved the view with those long sliding windows! It was so awesome to sleep with them open and hear the ocean waves all through the night!
A little Father-Son time...
