Breath of Fresh Air

It was literally a BrEaTH oF fReSH AiR to get out of the city and head over to our hometown. The entire trip was awesome in so many ways. My dearest mother babysat Ethan basically the entire trip. She was amazing for doing that! Brey and I were able to do so many things together. We were never at the house very long at all. We went several times to bounces houses. Went to a baby blessing. Went to all the parks. Did kite flying with my sister and then also with my sister in law Pam and her man Stew. Went up the cayon. Hung out with old friends. Breakfast with the Allen fam. And so many other things.

But, like always, there are always family members and friends we don't get to see. To them, I am sorry and hope we get to see them next time!

The night David came to town we went to the midnight show to watch Ironman 2 for a double date with Monica and Lucus. It was quite funny that he and I (us old married parents) were the very first in line for it. Not the typical people you might see at a midnight showing, let alone the first in line. ha ha. The movie was good but a little easy to predict. But Robert Downey Jr. is always funny to watch. After the show David took me up a hill in Cedar. It was so amazing to lay out and look up at the sky and actually see the stars more clearly. It was like being able to see a bazillion more! It felt so natural to breath in the cool crisp air.I didnt realize how much I really missed being able to do those things.
So grateful to my husband for taking and bringing us to and from Utah so often to see family and friends. He is an amazing husband and father to us for letting us leave him for long periods at a time so that we can go enjoy ourselves. Im sure he likes the break from us too tho. But its nice because when we do get home after so long apart, I can tell that he is actually glad to have us home!!
