The WORST Parents Ever In History

Last weekend David and I took the kids into town to go do something fun with them. We were leaning to either go to the river to splash in the water or head over to the Museum For Youth.

Well the next thing I know, we are at the Fiesta Mall where carnival rides were all set up. Breyonna was so ESTATIC!! PURELY THRILLED as any little child would be! We decided before we bought tickets to look around at all of the rides and figure out what rides Brey wanted to ride on and then go purchase the tickets accordingly. BAD IDEA.

The reason we are the worst most aweful parents is because niether David nor I even thought about the HIEGHT REQUIREMENT!!!! Are you kidding?? What is wrong with us?? And yep you guessed it.... EVERY SINGLE RIDE:36''. Breyonna: 35''

Our SUPER EXCITED KID harldy even broke out a tear when we told her she was too little to ride any of the rides as we drug her back to the truck since she was reluctant to leave. She just hung her little head down and had the most Heart Broken look on her angel face. It looked like her world had shattered. Both David and I wanted to cry when we saw that face.

We took her to Tempe Town Lake hoping that the splash pad would be open for the season since we didn't know but, no luck. So we went down to the park by the lake and baught Brey an icecream. Some people think that icecream and chocolate make everything all better. She was not all better but at least she lost that heartbreaking expression that was killing David and I for a liitle while!

So there it is... if there is a parent out there who ever thought at some point that they were the worst parent ever..GOOD NEWS to them.. THEY AREN'T -WE ARE!!!

Baby Ethan has FINALLY arrived!! He was born 5 days earlier than his due date of the 16th. Born on March 11th, 2010 at 6:48 am. He weighed in at 8 pounds 6 ounces and was 21 inches in length. Ethan was pronounced a healthy baby at birth.

Breyonna is in HEAVEN with her baby brother Ethan! She loves to hold him, feed him and lay down next to him. She is very helpful too. Ethan is a joy and we look forward to every coming day with him and his sister!!!

Two & A Half Decades

Our David is 25! Can't Believe how fast time is flying. I have known and been with him for seven birthdays now. That's crazy! When we were still in the dating stage, I had asked David where he saw himself in 5 years. This is a small segmant in a letter he responded to me in.....

Dear Amelia,

I imagine my life in 5 years from now to be great. I hope to have a wife, and a house that I can call home. I want to have a great job that I love as much as you. I want to be happy and I want to have money. I am going to do the best I can to have all that done by the time I am 25.

David has acheived that and more (Breyonna & Ethan etc.) by the time he had hoped to accomplish his goals in. As someone he told his goals to over seven years ago, and who is now his wife, I just have to say how PROUD I am of David and the fact that he made those goals and conquered obsticles to get them fullfilled. I Love this guy so much and hope for lifes greatest blessings to be with him throughout the rest of his life..

Wednesday March 3rd, We went over to his brother Ben's home for an Allen Family Get Together to celebrate David's Birthday. We had the little BBQ out in the back yard. It was an evening to kick back, relax and just play around with the nieces and nephews. It was really nice to get together like that. It was a great family night and David enjoyed it.

Two days before David's B-day, he got suprised with a ticket to the Phoenix Suns VS Denver Nuggets game as an early gift from his kids when he got home. He was excited.. so he scarfed down dinner, quickly changed his clothes, and ran out the door to meet up with his brother Ben who he went with to the game.

We were so blessed to have been able to go up to Utah to spend Christmas with family and friends. Christmas was WONDERFUL!! The gifts were awesome and the company was sweet but the best part of all was being able to call and talk to Elder Stroud!!
